Hannah Jasper Sports Massage Therapy's image

Hannah has always had a passion for sports, having played rugby for over 14 years, football, most of her life, and partaken in as many other sports as she could try, such as Thai Boxing, hockey, badminton and squash. She has suffered from several injuries throughout her sporting career, ranging from a severe ACL tear, that required surgery, to strains and sprains that slowed her down temporarily.
Her main frustration was the time it took to get back to playing sport again, and the affect it had on her mental health.

This frustration was turned into a moment of inspiration in 2023, to try and help others get back to sport. So, she decided to re-train out of management within a corporation and into a new profession as a Sports Massage Therapist. With this qualification Hannah's mission is to support and help those who just simply want to get on with life, or want to get back doing their hobbies and activities as soon as possible after being affected by injury or pain.

Hannah is now a qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist offering techniques that can assist in a quicker recovery for soft tissue and sports injuries. She is also trained in Kinesio Taping (K-Taping). She is trained in Pre & Post event massage, deep tissue massage, Muscle Energy Techniques (METs), Soft Tissues Mobilisation Techniques, Soft Tissue Release, Trigger Point and Positional release Techniques.

Out of work, Hannah has taken a little step back from the contact sports, but she still goes to the gym most days. She is a semi-professional drummer and plays in several bands most weekends. She has found that having sports massage treatment has supported her activities out of work and has helped her maintain a healthier lifestyle.

Hannah is also a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA).
